Spiral Columns Left Twist Pattern

How to knit the Left Twist
Knit through the back loop of the second stitch on your left needle without dropping it from the needle. Bring your right needle to the front and knit the first stitch on your left needle as you normally would. Drop both the first and second stitches off the left needle.

Pattern
Cast on a multiple of 7 sts, plus 2.
Row 1 and all WS Rows: Knit 2, *Purl 5, Knit 2, rep from * to end.
Row 2 (RS): Purl 2, *Left Twist, Knit 3, Purl 2, rep from * to end.
Row 4: Purl 2, *Knit 1, Left Twist, Knit 2, Purl 2, rep from * to end.
Row 6: Purl 2, *Knit 2, Left Twist, Knit 1, Purl 2, rep from * to end.
Row 8: Purl 2, *Knit 3, Left Twist, Purl 2, rep from * to end.
Rep Rows 1-8.
