Stamen stitch, also known as Honeycomb stitch, Chinese Wave stitch.
Pattern
Cast on an even number of stitches.
Round 1: Knit
Round 2: *Purl 1, Slip 1 wyif; rep from * to end.
Round 3: Knit.
Round 4: * Slip 1 wyif, Purl 1; rep from * to end.
Rep rounds 1-4.
